Consultation Times

All consultations, both with the doctors and nurses, are by appointment only. Routine appointments are 10 minutes long and can be booked either by phone or online via EMIS Access.

We normally encourage patients to book routine appointments with their registered GP as this allows for good continuity of care. We do however recognise that at times there may be reasons why an appointment to see another GP may be required.

Urgent appointments are shorter than routine appointments and may be with any GP in the practice. We would request that these appointments are used for problems that cannot wait until the next routine appointment and are limited to one problem.

Morning surgeries run between 8.10am-10am for routine appointments and then urgent appointments from 11am-11.30am.

Afternoon appointments run between 4pm – 6pm.

We also offer an evening surgery on Tuesday evenings for those patients whose working schedule make it difficult to see a GP during the day.

If you are unable to keep an appointment please let us know as soon as possible so that we are able to offer the space to another patient.
